Thank you to everyone who submitted asks in last week’s call for your stickiest organizing conundrum. Everything from digital clutter to in-between wastelands to handling no closets came up. My mom visited recently. She is a next-level expert on cleanliness and WILL find that bit of dust behind your dresser, no matter how thoroughly you think you’ve cleaned. She’s truly gifted at cleaning and commits to it with her whole heart. One of my strongest childhood memories is of her cleaning the kitchen floor on hands and knees (“the only way to really see all the dirt!”). Somehow I did not inherit her gift for cleaning. I guess with the next generation it genetically morphs into a love of organizing.
